SS Burdigala

originally built as a German luxury liner in 1898, it was later acquired by the French and requisitioned to become an armed troop ship in 1914. in a twist of irony, it was a German naval mine that sank this ship in 1916, just one week before the sinking of Britiannic and only a short distance away.
